“Help Some People Walk Again.”

I’m baaaaaaack 🙂

Life.  The next six weeks are going to be particularly busy, so it’s going to be even more important for me to get back into the bloggy routine and take some time out of the crazy for #findingthehappy.

Wednesday Words!  I am so so proud of the young man in the latest video on this Facebook page, The Hike for Heads.  Tyler is one of my many awesome cousins, and a year and a half ago, he was in a horrific car accident in New Zealand and suffered a severe Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI).  He has miraculously recovered, and over the past few months he’s been hiking the Pacific Coast Trail (PCT) with a couple buddies from Mexico to Canada to raise awareness and money for TBIs.

While his 2,660 mile walk on the PCT has finished, he is continuing on the quest to help those with TBIs.  If you or someone you know has been affected by a TBI, please consider donating money or sharing this initiative to (in Tyler’s words) ‘help some people walk again’ 🙂

The video of Tyler’s message is on their public Facebook page (no need to have a Facebook account to access):  https://www.facebook.com/hike4heads

Click the link above, check out the post from the afternoon of Tues 9/29 that starts with “The 2660 mile journey from Mexico to Canada is now finished! Wow. Honestly, it’s difficult to put into words how I feel.”

Tyler, if you’re reading this, you’re simply amazing.  I’m so proud of all you’ve accomplished and am privileged to call you FAMILY.  See you soon! xoxo
