African Safari Photos

My husband Rob is co-owner of a newer tour company, Sabrewing Nature Tours.  He and his business partner take people on bird watching and photography tours, and they often travel to new places to scout potential new tour destinations.

This past November, they both spent about two weeks in Uganda and LOVED it.  They actually just announced their inaugural bird watching tour there for November 2018 – and I kinda want to go myself, LOL 🙂

Rob writes for a couple other websites/blogs in addition to running the tour company and serving on the board of a couple non-profits.  One of those sites is the Nature Travel Network, and he recently shared a gallery of photographs from one spot in their Uganda travels, Murchison Falls National Park.  Check out the website link below, and enjoy!

Here’s a bonus photo 🙂

Baby Sea Lions!

Back in September, my husband and I visited the Galapagos Islands with some of his clients.  Everything there is spectacularly fascinating – the wildlife, the terrain of each island, the beaches, the foliage, etc.

One of my very favorite experiences was seeing some of THE cutest animals up close and personal.  You have to stay at least 2 meters away from all animals there, but sometimes they come up to you.  Because they don’t know humans as predators, this happens quite often.

Galapagos Sea Lions are adorable, curious creatures, and we were fortunate to be able to study them so closely.  Here are some of my favorite sea lion friends from that trip:

This one was my very, very favorite 🙂  So calm and serene.
